Celebrities in search of the “Fountain of Youth…” Have they found it?
Most celebrity plastic surgery that is done really well goes undetected. You notice that the celebrities seem to be aging in reverse but you just don’t know exactly why.
Demi Moore is a classic example. Her skin looks flawless and her appearance more youthful today than she did in the late 80s. Whether it is due to chemical peels, laser treatments, good skin care, possible fat grafting, or just great genetics, the bottom line is this is how you want your plastic surgery to turn out.
Plastic surgery that does get noticed is not always a bad thing. Take Ashley Simpson for example. Although a disappointment to her fans who loved her unique look before she had surgery, her nose job turned out spectacular. She once had an elongated nose with a bump, and now she has a perfect, small petite nose that fits her face, similar to that of Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Unfortunately there are also those cases of bad plastic surgery that receive unwanted media attention and are noticed for all the wrong reasons. Bruce Jenner, a beloved Olympian, is a prime example of bad plastic surgery.
In his quest to hold onto his youthful appearance, he ended up having a facelift that left him looking altered, tight, and awkward. It completely changed the appearance of that young “all American boy” look that we all knew and loved.
As for woman and their desire to have full, luscious lips, there are several celebrities that took it to the next level and ended up having what we politely call “duck lips.” Courtney Love, Meg Ryan, and Lindsay Lohan are perfect examples. Whether they had fillers or fat grafting to the lips, they definitely look over done. Some women try to make a statement with their lips. In the end, I think we all realize some women can pull it off and there are a handful of those who can’t.
Remember to choose your plastic surgeon wisely when venturing on the path of plastic surgery and bigger is not always better.
