Botox® and Dysport®

Botox® is a simple, 10-minute procedure consisting of a few tiny injections directly into the facial muscles to rid you of those unwanted wrinkles. It can be used for moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, wrinkles on the forehead, and for wrinkles around the outer eyes (crow’s feet). You should start to see a visible improvement in the area within a few days. This procedure usually lasts upwards of three to four months.

We ask you to refrain from exercising, rubbing or massaging the area, or laying flat for 4 hours after receiving your Botox injections. You may notice a temporary eyelid droop or bruising/ redness around the injection site. These side effects are temporary and resolve within days.

Dr. Heck also offers Dysport® which is similar to Botox® and has been FDA approved for aesthetic use. Dr. Heck has offices conveniently located in Columbus and Upper Arlington Ohio.

Juvederm™ and Restylane®

Juvederm™ and Restylane® are injectable gels which replace the hyaluronic acid your skin can lose over time with aging. The goal is to bring back your skin’s volume while smoothing away facial wrinkles and folds.

They are commonly used for the correction of nasolabial folds (the area that folds and creases from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth) and also for marionette lines (from the corner of your mouth to your chin).

Lip Augmentation

One of Dr. Heck’s areas of expertise is also injecting these fillers directly into the lips to restore volume and fullness, giving you a pouty, sexy silhouette. This is called lip augmentation.

Immediately after the treatment, it is common to notice bruising, swelling, or redness at the treated area. This is normal. The discomfort is temporary and usually resolves within a couple days. The volumizing effects of these products can last up to one year.
